Travel Photo Friday: Chariots of Fire

I'll be interested to know if you can identify the location of today's photo. It comes from Peter Henry, so let's hear more about it....

This is one of the most famous views in the world - the 1st and 18th holes of the Old Course at St Andrews. Not only that, but to the right is the beach which featured in the opening scenes of the film, Chariots of Fire, as the British Olympic athletic team trained for the Paris games.

Thanks for the photo Peter - great view, and what a dramatic sky! If you'd like to contribute your own travel photo, then please get in touch at the address on my contact page. Happy Friday everyone!
