Luxury week - The Pucic Palace in Dubrovnik

If you popped in to read my blog post on Monday, you'll know that this week on Travel Lightbulb is 'luxury week'. I'm continuing the theme of beautiful accommodation today by featuring a completely luxurious hotel in Dubrovnik! The Hotel Pucić Palace is one of the finest noble homes in the city.

It's a 17th century Baroque building but is a luxury five star boutique hotel located in the old town. It is located in Gundulić Square, one of the most beautiful spaces in Dubrovnik which serves as a quaint market in the morning and the setting for glamourous alfresco dining in the evening.

What I like about the Hotel Pucic Palace is that, unlike some luxury hotels, this one features just 17 luxury rooms and two suites creating an exclusive and intimate experience for guests. It also has two fabulous a la carte restaurants meaning you don't have to venture out to eat if you don't want to.

Dubrovnik is a historic and beautiful city, and the beaches within walking distance from the Pucić Palace are superb. Hotel guests have exclusive access to the East West Beach Club - Banje Beach, just a short stroll away and was voted as one of the top 5 beaches in Europe.

The Pucić Palace is just 30 minutes from Dubrovnik airport, ten minutes from the Marina, and a minute from the old port. If you want more information on the hotel, go to the official website here.  So after two stunning luxury accommodation choices on my blog this week, I'd love to know.....where is your favourite luxurious place to stay?

  1. This is very nice blog with best design and good details. Dubrovnik is a city located on the coast at the Southern most tip of Croatia, looking out over the Adriatic Sea towards Italy. This hotel is best for a luxury week.
